Infinite Balanceby *nicostars

Traditional Art / Paintings / Abstract

When I did this painting, in 2010, I became aware of the necessary balance that is needed in this world. When I think of balance, for some reason, I think of elephants. Odd, I know. But such a big creature needs a gentle spirit....needs balance. The elephant's head represents not only balance but the world.

I love it! Not only did you capture the playfulness of the elephant with the splashy trunk, I think its eye shows the depth of intelligence that elephants possess (to me, anyway, one of my favorite animals) Love it!

I know, it is refreshing to get comments that are more than "awesome" "cool" or "pretty" etc. My son Connor is crazy about elephants, one of the main reasons I love them even more, but they are just incredible animals.
